Is your self care really self care?

Surprisingly many of us don’t know the true meaning of self care. A lot of times we feel guilty for taking time away from “important” tasks. Ultimately we forget that we ourselves are the most important task!

Oxford dictionary defines self care as the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one health. What is your definition of self care?

 Everyone feels overwhelmed with stress at times. Especially during Covid. Often we are unaware that we are stressed or even acknowledge the possibility. Fatigue, headaches and sleeplessness are some examples of the physical effects that stress can cause.

 It is extremely important that we begin to acknowledge and recognize those feelings & allow our bodies the much needed time to rest & recharge!
